The Genesee County Republican Party thanks Congressman Dan Kildee for his years of public service to our region and sends best wishes on his upcoming retirement and a quick recovery from cancer.
With Congressman Kildee not seeking re-election, the 8th Congressional District (which includes Genesee County) is now an open seat that has strong potential to be a competitive race for Republicans in the 2024 general election.
“Genesee County deserves conservative leadership in Washington that can deliver a better quality of life for our families and residents.” said Jay Fedewa, Genesee County Republican Party Chair. “This is a historic opportunity to elect a representative to Congress that stands for limited government, our Constitutional rights and freedoms, and the growth of Genesee County through economic policies that deliver a better quality of life for all our residents. Join with us as we work to elect a Republican Representative in the 8th Congressional District, as well as common-sense candidates up and down the ticket in 2024!”
The Genesee County Republican Party meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meeting details and more information can be found at www.GeneseeGOP.org or by following @GeneseeCountyRepublicanParty on Facebook.
