DearGenesee County Republicans,

On behalf of the Genesee County Republican Party I would like to congratulate our winning team of  candidates for a job well done and wish all of them success in the general election on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.  It takes courage, stamina, valued time and financial resources to pursue a political race.  It is not an easy task.  And to those who worked  hard but did not win, I wish to congratulate them for making a difference,  their efforts and courage have not gone unnoticed.  The impact all our candidates and their volunteers made resulted in only a 3,000 vote difference between Republicans and Democrats, the best stats we've seen in Genesee County in decades. With your help we WILL WIN these seats in November. Please give a round of applause to our 2010 Republican candidates.

Leadership Genesee, a program of Resource Genesee, is now recruiting its Class of 2011! 

The program has five main goals and objectives:

• Provide training to enhance participants’ individual leadership skills;
• Provide a framework for networking among participants,  community leaders, alumni, and others in the community;
• Build awareness among participants of community issues, resources, needs and civic responsibilities;
• Motivate participants to become more active citizens; and
• Expose participants to new, research-based ideas related toGenesee County’s economic, social, and political future.
