Local candidates for the Burton and Flint City Council races with primaries on Tuesday, August 4 have also been invited.

Picnic
to start at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Candidates will address the crowd
at 5:30 p.m. with voting to commence at 6:00 p.m. The cost to vote in
the straw poll is $5 per person. Results will be announced around 6:30
p.m. Please bring a lawn chair.
